Over the weekend, I was invited to check out some music at the 84th Annual "Old Fiddler's Picnic". The picnic was held at Hibernia Park, located in Wagontown, PA. Think of it like a sort of a mini Woodstock for bluegrass / country / folk enthusiasts, if you will. There was a main stage that featured established music acts, but also in the semi-wooded area away from the stage, many small circles of musicians were huddled in circles playing old standards, covers and sometimes just improvising and jamming. Walking through the area was like walking through a wall of sound, but not obnoxiously so.
I took my camera hoping to get a couple of interesting shots, but the crowd of spectators and musicians was a little too thick to get the shots I wanted. I came away with these few I thought I'd share.
